New Year 2011

New Year's day was super cold. We bundled up and did some shopping and then just hung out around the house. Mostly these are pics of how cute Kole is :)

This kid loves to be swaddled- still

November 2010- Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we were lucky to have Russell's parents come visit us from Washington. They braved all the snow and flew down a few days before Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving day we went and had dinner at my parent's house- there was lots of food and family and it was a lot of fun. We ate ourselves silly and then after some rest we hit the ads getting ready for some shopping.

Christmas Day 2010

Christmas morning we went over to my parent's house. We had a yummy breakfast and then exchanged gifts. It was a lot of fun to be able to see what everyone got.

The Cramer's and Jessops gave Mom a 'newer' version of the childhood story book she read us as kids. Her copy had ripped and was missing some pages.

Dad got a Yankee picture to add to his collection

We had such a great Christmas- we are so thankful for all our family and friends and for the Christmas season.

Christmas 2010

Christmas was especially fun this year with Kole- it was so much fun to shop for him and share our traditions with him (though he had no idea what was going on!)

We had Santa come visit on Christmas Eve because Russell was on-call on Christmas day and we didn't want him to miss anything. The nice part about Kole being so little- he had no idea.  Here is the loot Santa brought him.

Christmas Eve we went over to Andy and Pennie's house for dinner and a little program.

BINGO 2010

One of our favorite traditions on the Newbold side of the family is BINGO! This was Kole's first year and though he was a little too small to play- he did get a few consolation prizes. He fell asleep right before Santa came but was lucky and still got a gift. We had such a fun time hanging out with cousins.

December 2010

We got a new camera in December as an early Christmas present and have been having a lot of fun with it. Here are some shots of Kole. He is getting so big. He is happy kid and loves to lay on the floor and play.

He loves bath time

We took a trip to Temple Square with the Jessop's - anticipating cold,
cold weather and instead it was rather warm! (for December)
Kole hung out in his stroller and enjoyed all the lights.
Afterwards we went to Grandma and Grandpa Newbold's and
hung out with cousin Claire for a bit.

Kole wasn't crazy about the hat and gloves
