I can't hardly believe its been a whole month since I last posted- where does the time go? We haven't been up to much but here is what we have been up to:
These guys

*No they don't normally wear those around their neck it's their Christmas attire*
turned 3 on the 22nd of February (yes we know our dogs' birthday!) I thought about doing something nice like maybe using the cookbook (dog biscuit recipes) and cookie cutters shown in this pic (they got this for Christmas from Grandma Cramer) but after viewing the recipes and the time involved- I decided it was far too much work! I don't cook this much for myself! So, sorry dogs- maybe next year?

We ordered our crib awhile back and last week Russell assembled it and put it in the baby's room

*Don't mind the mess around it- we still have cleaning to do!*
I love it! Now we can move on to the fun things- like picking out bedding! This currently is the bedding I LOVE and hope to purchase soon.

Let the decorating begin!
The choices for boys bedding is somewhat limited, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. When I only have so many options, it sure makes making a decision a lot easier! When I have a girl- I'm screwed. Way too many choices!
I've thought about posting some fabulous belly shots on here- but well- there aren't any. The belly isn't quite cooperating as I'd hoped and instead of a cute baby bump it just looks like a nice oversized fat roll. It's fab. I keep hoping that any day the belly will round out and be cute- and when that day comes- we'll take some pics :)
In the meantime- here are a few little things I've learned about being pregnant: (not that every pregnant woman feels like this- just me!)
1- 40 weeks lasts FOREVER- and whoever said you are only pregnant 9 months, can't count
2- Just looking at a ketchup packet can cause heartburn (along with eating random things like crackers or a soda on an empty stomach)
3- Heart burn can and will wake you up in the middle of the night. Along with several trips to the restroom
4- Tylenol is worthless. Of course it's the only safe thing to take. It doesn't work! If you get a headache, your better off drinking coke than taking a tylenol
5- You really are an absolute wreck - an emotional, forgetful, whiny wreck! Fine one moment- the next reduced to tears. And when people ask how you are - do they REALLY want to know? haha
6- You get lots of sympathy from people and get out of doing stuff like lifting or moving things- it's great!
7- Feeling the baby kick and move around is one of the coolest things- it feels like someone is tapping on my stomach
8- I have the nose of a bloodhound- I swear. This of course can be good and bad- and I'm finding out it's mostly bad.
9- And the pregnancy waddle? Unavoidable at times. I can only imagine as I get bigger....
I really am excited to be pregnant- just learning all the fun things that come along with it! We are over half way there and can't wait to see our little guy in July (or he could come in June- I wouldn't mind!)
And most important- I have a new niece! She arrived on the 1st of March and is just as cute as can be (well from what I can tell from the pics) I can't wait to meet her! Hard to believe I will have one of my own in a few short months.
