I am FINALLY getting around to posting more and adding some pics. I had some problems with my card reader and it took forever to go to Walgreens and have my pictures all put on a CD. So these events happened in the last couple weeks- we are going to rewind a little!
At the end of September, Russell and I went down south for a long weekend and stayed in a little town called Marysvale. They have the cutest little Inn with cabins and all the 4-wheelin trails you could ever want.(its right next to the Pauite trail) When we booked the reservations there was only one cabin left so we quickly snatched it- but when we checked in we realized why it was the only one left!
The is one of the older cabins and had quite the musty smell that came with it. The room was tiny and had a full size bed and a double bed all shoved into it. The bathroom was super small and the shower was so tiny you had to bend down to wash your hair. Our cabin also had the water heater for a few cabins so it made a clinking noise 24/7 and got kind of annoying at night (good thing after 4-wheeling all day we were too tired to notice too much)
We arrived on Friday and went riding for a few hours that night. Saturday we went riding all day and hoped to see an elk or two, Russell even brought his Hoochie Mama cow call but the only thing we attracted were deer. Instead the most exciting thing we saw was a bunch of these:
They came so close to us I thought they would start pecking at us. They were weird looking and would gobble every time you said anything- it was pretty funny. We had such a good time riding and the day was so pretty. It was cold at first but it warmed right up and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. We rode almost 10 hours Saturday and we were both so covered in dust and so tired we could barely go to dinner. Here is some of what we saw:

We had such a good time and it was so nice to be able to spend time with just the two of us and relax. We will definitely be going back!
